A Trenton man has been charged in connection with the murder of 48-year-old Rodney Burke.
Kenneth Hines, 34, is charged with first-degree murder and second-degree conspiracy, and prosecutors say he conspired with others to commit a robbery, which resulted in Burke’s death.
Police found Burke suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside his South Broad Street apartment around 2 a.m. on Nov. 4. Burke was then taken to St. Francis Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Hines was arrested Tuesday after police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Walnut Avenue and found him in possession of narcotics.
Hines’ bail was set at $1 million cash or bond.
