Patrick McFarlane is going to jail for 60 years.
McFarlane was found guilty in July of the robbery-murder of Bordentown family man Rick Mason at a curbside dice game in the North Ward on May 4, 2008.
He was sentenced Friday by Judge Robert Billmeier to 60 years for murder and 20 years for robbery, with the sentences to run concurrently.
The jury took two hours of deliberation before concluding that the witnesses against him, including a couple of felons, told the truth about McFarlane pulling a silver handgun and shooting 44-year-old Mason in the back.
McFarlane was 19 when arrested and charged with the slaying of Mason and has been locked up ever since.
The assistant prosecutor in the case was James Scott.
